Soldering Rings Together
In most cases, we suggest soldering the rings together. The main advantage of soldering a wedding band and engagement ring together is that it increases the longevity of the rings. When rings are rubbing against each other it creates a sandpaper effect, which can eventually lead to costly repairs and sometimes loss of side diamonds. Soldering also ensures the diamonds are lined up and the wearer doesn't have to adjust the rings as they move on your finger. The only time we suggest not soldering a ring and band together is if someone wants to wear the rings individually, then of course soldering is not an option. Please note that on engagement rings and wedding purchased from us, we solder them together free of charge because we want to incentivize people to solder rings together.
