Ombre Eternity Band With Round Diamonds

Get That Fade

Ombre rings are fun; they feature a fade normally with sapphires that fade into different colors. I received a request to make an eternity band with round diamonds that had a similar fade. We used natural diamonds that faded from perfectly white to a dark gray. As the ring spins, you notice the change. Matching the diamonds took quite a bit of effort, but the end result has beautiful subtleties to it. We had to custom made the ring (the band portion) in metal to have the right fit and some space to engrave on the inside. The band is 3 millimeters wide, so it looks great on its own.
